Notice of the Annual General Meeting of Windsor Printmaker’s Forum.
This is to advise you of the upcoming Annual General Meeting of the members of Windsor Printmakers Forum, all members are welcome to attend. Any member interested in joining the Board of Directors must bring a copy of their CV to the meeting.
The details of this meeting are as follows:
Date: Monday, May 16, 2016
Time: 5:30pm
Place: Windsor Printmaker’s Forum, 420 Devonshire rd.
The agenda for this meeting will include the presentation of the Annual Report. Members will be asked to vote to:
- Accept the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting
- Accept the Annual Report
- Accept the Annual Financial Statements
- Elect directors

Windsor Printmaker’s Forum to receive donation from University of Windsor SoCA.
We are pleased to announce that we will be receiving a donation of prints from the University of Windsor. Please read the notice below from SoCA if you have any prints in this collection that you would like to reclaim before this donation happens, as the University has designated several times when artists can claim their work if they would like it to be returned. Please feel free to contact us via facebook or at info@wpfstudio.org if you have any questions about the collection.
NOTICE TO: All printmakers that attended at the University of Windsor, between 1970- 2016(Windsor, ON – October 28, 2016) The University of Windsor School of Creative Arts (“SoCA”) is currently storing over 4,000 working prints (the “Print Collection”) produced by the students enrolled in Printmaking in our program over the last 46 years. SoCA is currently undergoing enormous change and transformation. In the fall of 2017, SoCA will be moving to a new location in downtown Windsor. As a result, SoCA is donating the Print Collection to the non-profit organization Windsor Printmaker’s Forum. We would like to provide the Artists that have produced this work with an opportunity to pick up their work and remove it from the Print Collection before the transfer date of December 5, 2016. Commencing Friday November 4, the LeBel Building Vault will be open between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. This will provide an opportunity for all of the Artists to retrieve their work from the Print Collection. The final opportunity to pick up your work will be Friday, Dec. 2nd, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.Pick up dates:10:00 am – 3:00 pm, on Nov. 4, 11, 18, 25 and December 2, 2016. We would like to pull and wrap your print for pick up.
Windsor Printmaker’s Forum, founded by local artists in 1987, has established a working space for area artists to create and produce their own original, limited edition prints.
As a non-profit arts organization and an artist-run production center, we offer facilities in lithography, intaglio, relief, silkscreen and letterpress printing, giving area artists/printmakers a place to continue their creative development in the fine arts printmaking medium. All content © 2020.
